Vacmaster vwm510 Wall Mount Wet Review

Clean the Garage without Waking the Neighbors
My all-time pick for a really quiet vacuum is the Vacmaster Wall Mount Wet/Dry Vacuum. If you vacuum the garage and your car during weekends then this is a pretty good choice in case you don’t want to wake the neighbors on their day off. Some people say that the Vacmaster garage vacuum is too expensive for them but I say it is money well spent. This wall-mounted vac is perfect for the garage or basement and easily detaches from the wall for portable cleaning anywhere in the home. Powerful 5 HP wet/dry vacuum comes with a dual turbo industrial 2-stage motor, delivering maximum suction, quiet operation and long life. Easy to use with remote control on/off switch on contour handle, which also has suction control. Comes with 21 feet of hose for an extra-long reach for cleaning vehicle interiors. Vac also features 5-gallon polypropylene tank, ultra-quiet operation, blower function, large dust-sealed on/off switch, onboard accessory storage, 20-ft. cord with cord wrap and large carry handle for easy transport. Accessories include: 1 7/8in. x 10ft. flex hose, 1 7/8in. x 11ft. crushproof hose, 2 extension wands, washable cartridge filter and foam sleeve, round dust brush, combo floor nozzle with brush, crevice tool, car nozzle and air/noise diffuser.

Biggest Reasons why I Think this is a Pretty Good Vacuum

  • QUIET OPERATION:This Vacmaster wet/dry vac runs a lot quieter than the vacuum we use in the house. The manufacturer’s website says that it only makes 74-dB but there’s no way I can tell for sure. But I’m sure that it’s quieter than the shop vac we previously owned. The good news is that none of my pesky neighbors have complained about any vacuum noise.
  • STRONG SUCTION: You should expect any wet/dry vacuum cleaner to have strong suction power especially if you’re planning to use it in the garage. Comparing this with my old shop vac, I think they have pretty much the same amount of suction power. However, I have also read that this vacuum runs at 5 HP when it’s at its peak. Combine strong suction plus lower noise levels then you have a winner in my opinion.

  • REMOTE CONTROL: This is not the first vacuum that I have owned that has the controls on the handle. But I think adding that to this Vacmaster vacuum cleaner is a sure sign of genius on the part of the makers of this product. It saves me time, aggravation, power consumption, and footsteps – I don’t have a lot of space in my garage and I have to walk through tight corners.
